Willow Smith is the star of Chanel's fall/winter 2016 eyewear advertising campaign.

According to a press release, the 15-year-old singer and actress — who's also the daughter of Will Smith —  was selected for this campaign because she's the embodiment of her generation's spirit, and her youth and energy charmed Karl Lagerfeld, who named Smith a Chanel ambassador back in March.

"The young singer, songwriter, actress and trendsetter has been wearing Chanel for public appearances since 2013 and her first encounter with Karl Lagerfeld was in 2014 when he photographed her for the American magazine V. She was notably present at the Chanel fall/winter 2016 Ready-to-Wear show presented this morning at the Grand Palais," Chanel said in a statement at the time of the announcement.

The black-and-white eyewear campaign images feature Smith set against a minimal background. Smith is covered in jewels from Chanel's fall/winter 2016 ready-to-wear collection and is, of course, rocking sunglasses from the brand's collection for the season.

The campaign focuses on three different themes: Vintage, Urban Chic and Coco Chanel Chain. The Vintage theme features octagonal oversize sunglasses with no frames and hand-polished lenses, while the Urban Chic theme consists of butterfly and pantos-shaped frames with mirrored lenses that conceal the wearer's gaze. The Coco Chanel Chain theme features cat eye and round frames topped with a slither of metal at eyebrow level and over the nose.
