Beyoncé needs to zip it.

MetLife Stadium announced Monday that the "Hold Up" singer will no longer be performing Wednesday in East Rutherford, New Jersey, "as a result of strict doctor's orders for vocal rest."

The Sept. 7 show has been scheduled for Oct. 7. "There are no changes to any additional dates at this time and performances in St. Louis, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Nashville are expected to proceed as scheduled," MetLife Stadium said in a statement. "Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment apologize for any inconvenience."

Beyoncé has not yet commented on the postponement. The 35-year-old singer has nine shows to go on the Formation World Tour.

Beyoncé kicked off the Formation World Tour on Apr. 27 at Marlins Park in Miami. The May 29 show at Ford Field in Detroit was rescheduled for June 14 due to "scheduling changes." The May 5 concert at Nissan Stadium in Nashville was rescheduled for Oct. 3; no reason was given. The remainder of Beyoncé's 49 concerts dates remained unchanged. She hit the road to promote her album, Lemonade, and sang an average of 35 songs a night.
