“Squad goals!” “B.F.F. Goals!” “Extremely Famous and Beloved Actresses Who Also Appear to Be Great Friends Goals!”

Look out for all of these declarations on the Internet this morning, as blogs and outlets—people on the street even, probably!—shout and shriek about Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence. The two actresses have been friends for some time—Lawrence referenced an inside joke with Stone on a red carpet back in 2013—and recently they have been seen out to dinner with Adele, and also, a few weeks later, watching an Adele concert together (a night that ended, per Lawrence, with Stone taking care of her).

And now the two are making official appearances together! Lawrence attended Tuesday night’s screening, in New York, of Stone’s film La La Land, which is generating extreme Oscar buzz (both for the film itself and for Stone). This is nice! Stone—currently on the cover of Vogue—wore a dress by The Row (we’re going to call this color “cream,” but feel free to argue), while Lawrence went with a black La Perla top with Ralph Lauren pants. (“We are dressed like good and evil right now!!!!!” we can imagine Jen shouting, making some sort of grimacing face, upon greeting Stone.)

We’re very excited for La La Land and for Lawrence’s Passengers, as well, but how has no one given the green-light yet to a comedy for these two?!?! They could play sisters, rivals, co-workers, cousins—it could be a two-hour documentary of the two of them FaceTiming—whatever!
