Kylie Jenner, Shawn Mendes, and Laurie Hernandez are among the Most Influential Teens Of 2016, according to Time. Check out the gallery below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, the magazine annually recognizes 30 teenagers who are contributing to society in unique ways. To determine this year’s list, Time says it looked at “accolades across numerous fields, global impact through social media and overall ability to drive news.” There are no rankings, with the honorees simply organized from youngest to oldest.

And at 19, Jenner is one of the elders and a repeat honoree. Time points to the reality star’s “powerful brand” and “millions of social-media followers who share her passion for reinventions.” For 18-year-old Mendes, another returning name, it’s noted he’s “spent the past year conquering singles charts,” and is “also widely regarded as a role model who loves to share, as he puts it, “positive thoughts” on Instagram and Snapchat.”

Hernandez, who is currently competing on “Dancing with the Stars,” is commended for her Olympic feats, as are U.S. Gymnastics teammate Simone Biles, and record-breaking swimmer Katie Ledecky. Other notable names deemed “influential” range from Jaden Smith and “Stranger Things” actor Gaten Matarazzo to Maddie Ziegler and Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello, as well as global activists like Malala Yousafzai. Check out the gallery below to see some of this year’s celebrity honorees, and head over to Time for the full list.
