Soon, we’ll finally be able to venture inside the Forbidden Forest.

On 31 March, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London will open a glorious new expansion dedicated to the Forbidden Forest (you know, that place Dumbledore told Harry and his mates not to go, but they went anyway). The real-life Forbidden Forest will look a LOT like the Forbidden Forest you’ve seen in the films, with 19 trees – each 12 feet wide – with giant roots you have to trek through. There’ll even be controllable weather, so you can make things fittingly dark and moody.
There’s fun stuff to do inside the forest, other than just wandering around and pretending to be Hermione.
One of Rubeus Hagrid’s original costumes will be on display for you to check out, plus there’s a full-size model of Buckbeak to bow to.
When you venture deeper into the forest, you’ll come face-to-face with Aragog (its leg span is over 18 feet, so it’s pretty massive) and a bunch of spiderlings.
The whole thing sounds scary and delightful, and we’re very excited to be able to follow up our trip to the Great Hall by creeping around a spider-filled forest.
The studio tour’s new Forbidden Forest will be open from Friday 31 March, and entrance will be included in the regular ticket price.
