AS far as stories to tell the grandkids go, how LINDSAY LOHAN met her new man is up there with the most unusual.

The actress, who split from Russian heir Egor Tarabasov in July after a series of very public rows, is now dating restaurant and bar owner Dennis Papageorgiou.

And there was no Tinder involved.

I can reveal Dennis was actually the man who stepped in when it all got heated between Lindsay and Egor on the Greek island of Mykonos earlier this year.

The row spelled the beginning of the end of their relationship.

Dennis broke up the spat, which saw Egor throw a drink over Lindsay after she chucked his phone in the sea, which I told you about in July.

The pair, who split later that month, were then later captured on camera fighting as Egor violently pulled her arm behind her back in a bid to grab his phone from her.

A source said: “Lindsay initially met Dennis at her 30th birthday party on Mykonos, but she only had eyes for Egor at that point.

“But Egor showed his true colours in a series of blazing rows, and Dennis did too with how he stepped in to help. Lindsay says they are very serious and she’s been referring to him as the man who saved her from Egor.”

Lindsay and Egor started dating in late 2015 and got engaged in April earlier this year. But it was far from plain sailing with things coming to a head in July when police had to force entry to her London flat after neighbours overheard a furious bust-up.

In footage taken by a neighbour and revealed by The Sun she could be heard begging for help outside her £3.2million home.

Shouting her name and address across the street, she screamed: “Please please please. He just strangled me. He almost killed me. Everybody will know. Get out of my house.’’

And it’s not just Lindsay who’s had relationship drama.
Dennis has dumped his long-term model girlfriend NOELLE KOUTRA to be with the actress.

The source added: “It’s a weird scenario to meet in but they’re taking things seriously. Dennis ended it with Noelle to be with Lindsay, so it’s not something they’re taking lightly.

“Lindsay is hoping this is a start of a more healthy relationship.”

It can’t go any worse than the last one.
