Tom Hardy made a surprise appearance at an event in support of his upcoming movie Venom in New York City on Monday.

The 41-year actor met with young fans in an event coordinated by the Lollipop Theater Network, a national nonprofit that shows moves that are in theaters to children who are hospitalized 'due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses.'
The English star was at Sony Square NYC during the outing, and toured the venue's innovation studio with the children.
The 5ft9 actor wore a grey jacket over a red Hudson Jeans flannel shirt and French Connection Henley shirt with blue Hudson Blinder Biker Skinny Moto jeans and white sneakers on the outing. He had a scruffy beard and had hit brown locks spiked up.
The Academy Award nominee, who plays Eddie Brock-Venom in the movie, told Total Film last month that the character could potentially span a trio of films.
'We’ve signed up for three of them,' he said. 'So it’s very much an open case. We’ll see what people’s responses are to it. I think it’s an awesome character. I love playing both of them.'
Hardy added of the film: 'It’s an amuse-bouche and, for Sony, it’s the Venom-verse launched in isolation, as it were.
