Angelina Jolie knows her way around a pile of old rocks.

And so she wasn’t your average mum-of-six when she rocked up to an indoor climbing centre with twins Knox and Vivienne in Los Angeles this week. Switching into full-on beast mode, Angelina channeled alter-ego Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in her first sighting since claims ex-husband Brad Pitt is seeing her Hollywood nemesis Charlize Theron.
She clearly wasn’t one to watch from the sidelines, and strapped straight in for a vertical ascent in her dark cargo pants and climbing shoes. Hair up and hands chalked, the 43-year-old – who trained six days a week in kickboxing, weapons training, Muay Thai and Krav Maga to play the athletic archaeologist in 2001 – wanted a piece of the action just like her 10-year-olds.
It’s the first time Angelina has been seen since rumours of her ex’s new romance with Hollywood bombshell Charlize. Brad was allegedly seen getting ‘ridiculously touchy-feely’ with Charlize in the Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont last week. Onlookers claimed that he looked relaxed and happy and winked at her with his arm around her neck. On Monday, it was revealed that the couple had potentially connected at photoshoot for Breitling watches as far back as six months ago, even though initial reports stated that they met through her ex Sean Penn.
They are said to have started dating at Christmas, The Sun claims, and they now spend a lot of time at his Los Feliz, California mansion. And it’s not an ideal choice as far as Angelina’s concerned, because she and Charlize reportedly ‘can’t stand each other’. A report from RadarOnline in 2017 suggests that the women have been ‘feuding for years’ over film roles. It was just December when Brad and Angelina are thought to have reached a final agreement over custody of their six children. It took more than two years of negotiations about Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox to settle their differences.
