NETFLIX hit The Crown left a raunchy sex scene between The Queen and Prince Philip on the cutting room floor.

The bedroom scene in question was from the first season of the show when Claire Foy and Matt Smith played the Royal couple but it will never see the light of day.
Actress Vanessa Kirby, who played Princess Margaret in the first two seasons of the big budget epic, revealed the cut was made because viewers "didn't need to see" the monarch having sex.
Speaking on Dolly Alderton's Love Stories podcast, Vanessa, 31, said: "There was a sex scene between Elizabeth and Philip in the first season. I think they were in South Africa filming, and they were like, 'I just don’t think anyone wants to see the Queen having sex.'"
And it turns out that wasn't the only naughty sequence that didn't make the final cut.
Vanessa explained that there was also an x-rated scene between her character and Anthony Armstrong-Jones (Matthew Goode) in season two which was filmed but never included in the edit.
"There was one (sex scene) written in The Crown, in episode seven of (season two)," she revealed.
"We had long discussions about what it should be, and it just became clear that to titillate was not the aim."
Vanessa will not appear in the third season of the show, which hits the streaming service on November 17.
Princess Margaret will instead be played by Helena Bonham Carter, while the role of The Queen is now portrayed by Oscar winner Olivia Colman.
Tobias Menzies will play the Duke of Edinburgh while The Durrells' Josh O'Connor also joins the cast as Prince Charles.
