Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, has revealed that her husband has been banned from leaving his Thor hammers from lying around the house.

The actor is best known for playing the God Of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is the proud owner of a collection of Thor memorabilia, including a series of his trademark hammers. But unfortunately, Elsa has admitted that the hammers are taking up a lot of space at their dining table. Speaking on Australian radio show Fitzy & Wippa, radio host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli recalled a time when Chris had previously told the station that he wanted the hammers to be displayed at the table. ‘Yes, he always picks the best places in the house!’ Elsa replied. But the actress later states that he cannot put them there any longer – largely due to the fact he owns about ‘five of them’ for each movie he’s starred in. And that collection is sure to be quite huge – after all, Chris has starred as Thor in eight different Marvel movies to date. ‘It’s not going there,’ she continued. ‘We have five of them for every movie he’s done. Like, seriously, no.’
This revelation comes after Elsa recently revealed that she believes Chris brother Liam ‘deserves more’ following his split from Miley Cyrus. The couple, who got married in December 2018, confirmed they had split in August after a 10-year on and off relationship. ‘My brother in law [Liam], well, after a relationship where he dedicated 10 years, he’s discouraged… but he’s taking it well,’ Elsa was said to have told press at the Madrid launch of Women’s Secret’s KissMas Time range.
‘Family is always there to protect you. He and his brother are so close and he’s really been there for him to give him the strength he needs.’ Elsa and Chris have been married since 2010, and share three children together: seven-year-old daughter India and five-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
