Pop star Madonna called Canada "boring" and extended an invitation for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry to sublet her New York City apartment after the pair abandoned the Royal Family.

“Harry, don’t run off to Canada. It’s so boring there,” said Madonna in a video posted to Instagram. “I’ll let them sublet my apartment in Central Park West. It’s two-bedroom, it’s got the best view of Manhattan, and an incredible balcony. I think that's going to be a winner. That's going to be the deal breaker. No, Buckingham Palace has got nothing on CPW.”
Meghan has been staying in Canada at Frank Giustra's multimillion-dollar waterfront mansion. Giustra is a board member of the Clinton Foundation and co-founded Hollywood studio Lionsgate. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly told close friends that they refuse to live in Los Angeles until after President Trump is out of office.
Queen Elizabeth II agreed to a "period of transition" after Meghan and Harry announced plans to step back from royal duties and become "financially independent." Meghan has been dogged by the British press since she married Harry in 2018. Friends close to the duchess said it was racism that spurred her decision to split from the family.
In 2017, Madonna told thousands of people at the Women's March she thought about "blowing up the White House."
