The teenagers were due to be released from the foster care system

Sia has confirmed she has two children for the first time, revealing that she adopted two 18-year-old boys last year.
The 'Chandelier' singer made the surprise revelation during a video call interview with SiriusXM, telling the hosts she made the decision last year after the two teenagers - who are now 19-years-old - were about to exceed the age where they could receive foster care.
'I actually adopted two sons,' the Australian performer confirmed. 'They were 18, both 19 years old now, they were ageing out of the foster care system and I love them.'
Sia, whose full name is Sia Furler, acknowledged that both her sons are finding quarantine 'pretty difficult', one more so than the other but are both trying to keep busy with educational activities.
In January 2019, the Grammy winner confirmed she had adopted one son while also talking about how she wanted to stay 'single for the rest of my life'.
Sia was previously married to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang, who she wed in 2014 but announced her separation from him two years later in 2016.
Besides her award-winning catalogue of music, Sia is best known for the oversized wigs she wears to disguise her face when attending events or conducting interviews.
The singer has previously explained she does so because she is not interested in fame and wants to make music while still maintaining as much privacy as possible.
The 44-year-old has only decided to show her face on a handful of occasions like the Daily Front Row Fashion Awards in 2019 and various charity galas.
